Why are people still buying domestic animals at pet stores and breeders?  The reality is there are many rescue groups who specialize in breeds and some that have many different breeds which include all ages including puppies.

There are also foster parents that house these domestic animals until they are adopted.  And of course, there are wonderful shelters throughout USA.  Many people are truly not aware of the reality of animal welfare in this

country.  It is estimated that up to 10 million shelter animals are euthanized each year within EVERY STATE of the of the USA.   This is a very sad statistic but it is up to the people to change this.

Save Animals In Shelters, Inc. is a not-for-profit corporation 501(c)(3) and our mission is to assist domestic homeless shelter animals and to put an end to euthanizing animals.   Domestic animals who are placed in shelters are

usually devastated as they are not use to this environment.  I am the Founder of Save Animals in Shelters, Inc. and we are a small charity with no overhead and all our staff are volunteers.  All monies raised, 100% are used to

transport the animals out of highest-kill shelters and bring them to safety with rescue groups and foster homes.  The money is also used to feed the animals and provide medical care.  With larger charities, it is a fact, that not

all the money raised go to the actual cause because of their expenses. Such as: salaries, building rent, and medical insurance. And some of these bigger charities offer pensions to their employees.

Our Board of Directors is a group of unpaid professionals with a passion for animals. We also have legal staff that will assist our charity with any transaction needed pro bono.

If you are interested in making a monetary donation (no amount is too small) please go to the donation tab of the website to donate.  We also accept gently used and new animal supplies.  Also, we are always looking for remote

volunteers or volunteers to assist us at events.  If you have any questions, please contact me directly at:  973-271-2500.

Thank you for taking the time to learn about our organization.
