There are thousands of Groups on Facebook to join to rehome your pet. Do you know how to do a general search? Just go to the main menu, type in key words such as: rehome cat New York. Hit enter, immediately below there is a small menu and if you look all the way to the right you will see Groups. There are several things on the menu to view.

• There are many Breed Rescues that save homeless animals. If you can not place your pet above, please call a Rescue. Here is a website to find them: www.petfinder.com The Animal Shelters and Rescues can be found on the right side of the page.

• IF, a Rescue CAN take your pet please offer them an attractive financial incentive. Pets are expensive and no one is paid in Rescues.

DO NOT bring your pet to a Shelter. There are 1 to 2 million cats and dogs are euthanized yearly in USA Shelters.
