There are thousands of Groups on Facebook to join to rehome your pet. Do you know how to do a general search? Just go to the main menu, type in key words such as: rehome cat New York. Hit enter, immediately below there is a small menu and if you look all the way to the right you will see Groups. There are several things on the menu to view.
There are many breed rescues that save homeless animals. If you can not place your pet above, please call a rescue. Here is a website to find them: www.petfinder.com The animal shelters and rescues can be found on the right side of the page.
IF, a rescue can take your pet please offer them an attractive financial incentive. Pets are expensive and no one is paid in rescues.
DO NOT bring your pet to a Shelter. There are 1 to 2 million cats and dogs are euthanized yearly in USA Shelters.
